La Clusaz France In The Heart Of The Aravis
La Clusaz, in the heart of the Aravis mountain range, has the charm of an existing village long before skiing had developed into the industry it has become. Skiing was the way for farmers to get to the village when it was really necessary and La Clusaz old village around the church was the original one we used to go from Annecy to spend a day skiing.

It has grown tremendously and with taste. The ski is fabulous. I remember the days we had to go to 6 different resorts to ski. Nowadays, you can go all around as they have developed superb connections and opened new skiing slopes. I still tend to choose an area for skiing as there are enough slopes in each area to enjoy a good day. It also makes it a 6 full days skiing like if you were in 6 different resorts, each with its characteristics and fantastic views. Moreover, if some in the party are happy with only a few hours skiing, they have access to good pubs and restaurants with great open air terraces.
